What is Extreme Fitness Boot Camps?
Extreme Fitness Boot Camps is an outdoor group exercise programme designed to get you in the best physical shape of your life regardless of your current fitness level. It is NOT a military-style programme. We do NOT shout at anybody or use abusive language. The camps are run by a professional fitness, strength and conditioning coach, not military drill instructors, and the main goal of this programme is to help you get fit, get motivated – and enjoy yourself in the process!
Where are the boot camp sessions held?
Our boot camp classes are held outdoors at the grounds of Kensington Leisure Centre (nearest Tube station is Latimer Road or Ladbroke Grove) and Academy Sport (nearest Tube station is Royal Oak) in west London. Please check the maps for the exact locations.
How often do we meet and how long is each class?
This is an ongoing programme and you can join for minimum of 3 months.
Depending on your choice of programme, we meet two, three or four times a week. Each class is 60 minutes long.
You can also take part in our one-off “Master Class” held on Saturdays.
What kind of results can I expect from Extreme Fitness Boot Camps?
Everyone is different so results will
vary from person to person. It takes at least six
to 12 weeks to make significant changes to your body composition and
to achieve visible and lasting results in your fitness. The participants
who’ve attended
all the boot camps and developed good eating habits
have achieved the greatest overall results. Some have managed to lose
as much as 8kg to10kg (17lb to 22lb) in just two to three months. Everyone
greatly increased their overall and core strength, endurance and general
level of fitness. Please read
our testimonials to see for yourself. However, if your main goal
is a weight loss, please visit our weight loss programme website – Extreme
Fat Loss Boot Camps for more information.
Do you have showers and changing facilities?
Yes, changing rooms, showers and locker facilities are available.
How much does it cost?
Can I pay per workout or just pay when I attend?
Every participant must register and pay upfront for the first month with the intention of participating in the entire programme. Please check our payment structure.
The only exception is the Saturday “Master class”, which operates on a pay-as-you-go basis.
How do I sign up?
Fill in the registration page and then pay using the secure online payment feature powered by RBS WorldPay or PayPal. We accept credit and debit cards, cash and cheques. If you’re paying by cheque, please make cheques payable to Coach Bronek. You can pay by cash or cheque in person on the day before the first session or post your payment to Coach Bronek, 34 Radnor Mews, London W2 2SA. Once we've received your registration information, we'll contact you with all the relevant information regarding your programme. Payment must be made before the first day of your chosen programme to guarantee your place. If you only want to take part in Saturday's class, you can sign a waiver and fill in short registration form immediately before the session.
Do you have a refund policy?
We offer a 14-day No-Risk Money Back Guarantee which means you have two weeks to decide whether Extreme Fitness Boot Camps are for you. Other than that, fees are non-refundable. If you miss more than two days due to business travel, vacation or illness, we will be happy to credit that time towards your next boot camp session. However, you must inform us of these eventualities immediately. There is no monetary refund and this is non-negotiable. Individual boot camps work on a set schedule.
What if I sign up for the three-day plan and then want to attend additional days?
After starting camp, some participants realise that they’d like to exercise more frequently and also take part in our Saturday Masterclasses. In addition, they realise that the more frequently they exercise, the greater the results. In these instances, your fees will simply be adjusted on a pro-rata basis from the time that you decided to join us for additional days. You will also be able to pay-as-you-go on Saturdays.
What type of people can I expect to meet at Extreme Fitness Boot Camps?
You'll meet individuals just like yourself. Some who need a little push to kick-start their new exercise routine, others who’d like to regain their former shape and level of fitness. Busy professionals, housewives, students and ladies of leisure. You may also meet athletes wanting to take their fitness to a different level or other trainers who like to do something different and are looking for a challenge, inspiration and good-quality coaching. People who seek the support of an organised group and sound training advice.
What is a typical boot camp session like?
Sessions are meant to be tough but at the same time fun! Each workout is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You will be instructed how to perform basic moves such as lunges and deep squats correctly and safely. You can also expect to do a lot of bodyweight exercises, such as press-ups, squats, skipping, burpees and stretches. You may play football and basketball, do circuits and tackle obstacle courses, and use equipment such as medicine balls, sandbags, sledgehammers – and wooden logs! Gradually we'll introduce some short and intense sprints and more advanced moves and routines using kettlebells and much more. Expect the unexpected!

Will I get sore?
Yes! Nearly everybody feels some degree of soreness after our first couple of sessions as it’s an inevitable part of the process that lets you know you’ve worked hard and that your body is recovering and adapting to the new demands you’re making on it. Despite the fact that the first two weeks are the easiest, you’ll normally find them the toughest. However, once you acclimate to the programme, you'll feel sore less often throughout the remaining two to four weeks. We will always do warm-ups, cool-downs and stretching to help minimise the soreness and prevent injuries, and you’ll be instructed on how to prevent and treat muscle soreness.
What if I'm not physically fit?
That's why you’re considering joining a fitness programme, right? You will never be asked to do something you’re not capable of doing, and most exercises have a few options for you to choose from. You'll do what you can but always look to gradually improve your personal best and develop your skills and movement efficiency so that you can slowly progress to doing more and more complex exercises.
However, you’re advised to have more than just a basic level of fitness.
It is not a programme for absolute beginners.
What if I still cannot keep up with the rest of the group? I haven’t exercised in a long time.
Forget about keeping up with anyone – you’ll be coming here to exercise yourself. Most exercises can be modified if needed so that you can do them in your own time. Extreme Fitness Boot Camps is designed for anyone who really wants to develop and advance their fitness! The only way to see what it is like is to come and take part. It’s that simple.
I’m not a runner, is this programme for me?
Yes! You don’t need to be a runner in order to take part. You can always skip instead of jogging and do some other intense bodyweight exercise instead of sprints.
What do I need to bring to camp?
All the equipment is provided but please remember to bring a bottle of water. Optional items are a towel and a change of clothes if you're planning to use the changing and shower facilities afterwards. Please dress in layers as you will get very warm very quickly. We suggest that you buy a pair of good-quality trainers. You may also like using gloves for some of the exercises. Other than that, everyone is asked to bring a positive attitude along with a will to do well, train hard and succeed.
What happens if it rains? Do we still train?
Yes, we train rain or shine. However, although we encourage outdoor workouts, training in the rain does NOT make you fitter, just wetter! This is fitness boot camp, not the military, which is why in bad weather we use the indoor training facilities during our morning sessions and train on the pitch under the Westway in the evenings.
If I cannot make it one morning, can I make up the session in the evening?
We will try our best to be as flexible and accommodating as we can, however this is not always possible as it depends on the size of the group. We promise to try to work something out if you let us know in advance.
What happens when the programme ends?
Our programme is an ongoing one – after
all, getting fit is about changing your lifestyle,
not a four- or six-week quick-fix. You’re welcome to participate in
as many boot camp programmes as you wish – we’ll make sure you’re always
challenged! Some participants started our outdoor
sessions in 2007 and they’re still coming back
for more.
We run regular fitness tests during our programme so you’ll be able to assess your progress yourself. What if I still have other questions?
Call us on 020 7117 7541, send a message using the contact form on this website or send an email to info@extremefitnessbootcamps.com and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I want to lose some weight and burn fat. Is this programme for me?
It may, as well! However, please browse our site, check picture gallery, testimonials and contact us if you need more information first and then decide yourself.
You can also visit our Extreme Fat Loss Boot Camps programme, which is designed exclusively with fat and weight loss in mind.
